The Center for Fuel Cells and Batteries is part of the University of Delaware’s commitment to being a leading resource for innovative energy technologies. Nearly twenty faculty in the College of Engineering and the College of Arts and Sciences are engaged in fuel cell and battery research. They have established laboratories for fundamental and applied research on fuel cells, batteries, and supercapacitors, attracted a large group of student and post-doctoral researchers, become a visible presence at electrochemistry conferences, and published in the top journals in the field.
